TSS (International) announces sale of 10 Meridian Standard Gyrocompasses

TSS (International) Ltd., (Watford, England) is pleased to announce the sale of 10 Meridian Standard Gyrocompasses to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Norfolk VA USA. The Meridians will be installed as part of a navigation upgrade on the Landing Craft Units (LCU) at the Naval Amphibious Base.

The Meridian Standard uses a dry tuned element (DTG) that removes the need for routine maintenance. The Meridian is the smallest, lightest, most flexible and accurate mechanical gyrocompass available. It also offers IMO, Wheelmark and HSC certification. The sale was secured through the TSS USA office.
